Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. HomebuildersCAN Official Launch, Attend Online (free), April 3, 11 am - 12 pm
Event Description
Join Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI) for the official launch of the HomebuildersCAN program, a community of practice to educate and encourage builders to reduce the embodied carbon emissions associated with their homes. Developed by RMI with an industry stakeholder group, HomebuildersCAN will prepare the sector for anticipated regulation and investor pressure to address scope 3 emissions.
Learn about how to sign up and all of the benefits that come with membership, including working alongside experts and leading practitioners to 1) increase performance on embodied emissions and share your successes, 2) adopt and scale profitable climate-smart building practices, and 3) advocate for alignment across the sector.
During this webinar, RMI will also introduce a study on the impacts of airtightness, one of the most effective strategies for reducing both the embodied carbon and increasing the energy efficiency of homes.
