LEED Fellow Education Series: "LEEDfulness" feat. Erik Ring, June 27, Irvine, CA
Event Description
In the spirit of the recent best seller Factfulness by Hans Rosling, LEED Fellow Erik Ring, Director of Engineering at LPA, will reflect back on twenty years of LEED buildings, discuss the state of green buildings today, what might be coming in the future, and some general misperceptions about the state of the green building industry. Erik's presentation will be interactive (maybe even fun?) and promises to spark lively discussion.
Light refreshments will be provided by our host, LPA Design Studios.
Erik Ring has led the integration of engineering services into the firm since 2007.A licensed mechanical engineer, Ring helps ensure all LPA projects strive to exceed energy code requirements by 25 percent and incorporate appropriate renewable energy systems. As a nationally-recognized expert in green buildings, Ring is the engineer of record for more than 20 completed LEED projects and has consulted or advised on numerous other green building projects.
