MIT Sustainability Summit: Good Jobs for a Thriving Economy, Mar 9, Boston, MA
Event Description
Mainstream discussions about the future of work, widening inequality, and the rise of contract labor have proliferated in recent years. Despite the uncertainty of the times, there are many rich examples of businesses rethinking the role of workers – and the nature of work – as a source of differentiation and an opportunity to outperform.
Join the discussion! Learn more about how businesses and other stakeholders are working toward a new normal, reimagining standards of work, and collectively mobilizing to build a thriving economy.
The MIT Sustainability Summit is an annual student-led event. The past Summits have featured discussions with thought leaders and expert practitioners like Jeremy Grantham (GMO), Jim Hanna (Starbucks), Mindy Lubber (Ceres), Nancy Gillis (GSA), Jeffrey Hollender (Seventh Generation), Scot Horst (USGBC), James Balog (Chasing Ice), Rick Ridgeway (VP Patagonia) and many more.
