Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. New England's Climate Readiness: Diverse Voices on Adaptation and Resilience Newiee's, July 26, Lowell, MA
Event Description
New England Women in Energy and the Environment (NEWIEE) is pleased to announce its fourth annual “Women Shaping the Agenda” series titled “New England’s Climate Readiness: Diverse Voices on Adaptation and Resilience.” This event will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the UMASS Lowell Inn and Conference Center.
The evening will feature:
Keynote Speaker, Katie Theoharides, Assistant Secretary of Climate Change, Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs
The panel discussion will be Moderated by Penni McLean-Conner, Chief Customer Officer and Senior Vice President of Customer Group, Eversource Energy (2016 NEWIEE Achievement Awardee)
Panelists include:
· Alison Brizius, Director of Climate and Environmental Planning, City of Boston
· Elizabeth Turnbull Henry, President, Environmental League of Massachusetts
· Katherine Kemen, Program Manager, Emergency Preparedness, Partners HeathCare System
· Ellen Miller, Vice President, Projects, AVANGRID Networks
Please join them at 5:00 PM for a welcome reception with drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and networking. The speakers and discussion will kick-off at 6:00 PM and will be followed by more networking until 8:30 PM.
