PhiusCon is North America’s leading passive building conference for zero energy design and construction, climate solutions, and building science expertise. Each year, PhiusCon attracts hundreds of architects, builders, engineers, policymakers and developers from across the globe with its combination of content-rich sessions and thought-provoking keynote addresses.

Phius' flagship annual conference comes to Houston Nov. 7-10

PhiusCon 2023 is headed to the Lone Star State! By hosting this year’s conference in Houston, PHIUs looks forward to the next frontier of passive building: hot and humid climates. The need for reliable, efficient buildings has never been greater in Texas and beyond. Phius buildings are designed with the grid in mind – providing energy independence and hardening the larger grid system.

Despite the challenges posed, the Phius methodology has proven effective in hot and humid climates. In addition to the case studies and other national topics that are staples of the event, PhiusCon 2023 will provide an entryway into the Phius community for local practitioners, developers and policymakers, equipping them with a blueprint to create more resilient, grid-friendly, healthy communities.
