Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. In May 2016, Atlanta became a member of 100 Resilient Cities pioneered by the Rockefeller Foundation and released the Resilient Atlanta strategy on Oct 17th.
Earlier this year, the Atlanta City Council unanimously approved a measure that establishes a community-wide goal of transitioning to 100 percent clean energy by 2035.
Learn how data will be used to create an inclusive plan with input from the community. You will get a hands-on look at the data and a chance to add your input.
Deputy Chief Resilience Officer,
City of Atlanta, Mayor’s Office of Resilience
In February of 2017, Cicely Garrett, Deputy Chief Resilience Officer for City of Atlanta, Mayor’s Office of Resilience, 100 Resilient Cities program pioneered by the Rockefeller Foundation. Prior to joining the Office of Resilience, Cicely served in the capacity of community builder, facilitator and program manager for 8.5 years at one of Atlanta’s largest local nonprofits, the Atlanta Community Food Bank. There she spearheaded to Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program and in 2013 she transitioned to Food Systems Innovation Manager working to improve fresh food access in Atlanta's inner-city neighborhoods via GA Food Oasis-Atlanta initiative. Cicely continues to serve as a Sr. Advisor to Food Oasis.
Dr. Matt Cox

Dr. Matt Cox is the co-founder and CEO of The Greenlink Group, a clean energy technology and consulting firm based in Atlanta. In this role, Matt oversees the design of energy and resource analysis software tools to inform planning and policy decisions across the United States aimed at increasing the precision of estimates and projections and capitalizing on opportunities to improve business and social outcomes, including Greenlink’s award-winning ATHENIA model. His consulting work focuses on energy efficiency strategies, renewable energy deployment and integration. He specializes in energy analysis, distributed resource valuation and the electric power sector.
