USGBC Georgia Building Transformation Forum: Circularity
Event Description

600 million tons of construction and demolition waste was discarded in the U.S. alone in 2018, according to the EPA, and The World Bank reports that 2 billion tons of municipal solid waste is generated each year globally. Thankfully, the green building industry has the knowledge, tools and drive to reduce waste through building design, construction and operations. This Building Transformation Forum explores the intersection of zero waste, circularity, and sustainable materials in the built environment. This immersive event features experts and real-world examples that will equip you with the tools, knowledge and network to support a circular economy.
