Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. USGBC MA Residential Committee April Meeting - ZeroEnergy Design Presenting, May 8, 5:45-8 pm
Event Description
GUEST SPEAKER: Stephanie, Horowitz, AIA CPHC, ZeroEnergy Design (ZED) Stephanie is Managing Director of ZeroEnergy Design (ZED), a green architecture and energy consulting firm. The firm’s commitment to innovative and ecologically sensible design is reflected in their multidisciplinary knowledge base, which spans the fields of architecture, mechanical engineering and finance. ZED is committed to designing homes and buildings that use 50% less energy than building code requires, in pursuit of energy independence. Stephanie also serves on the AIA’s Committee on the Environment (COTE) Advisory Group, and is a founding board member of Passive House Massachusetts. Stephanie is a Certified Passive House Consultant and a Massachusetts Registered Architect. The Residential Green Building Committee is focused on improving the housing stock of the Commonwealth by championing green building practices in our communities. Join us on the second Monday of each month to be a part of the movement. The committee’s objectives are to work to raise the awareness of the benefits of residential green building and remodeling and to increase the quantity of projects registering for LEED for Homes. T
