Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.

Virtual Event: Intro to Living Walls CEU Presentation, October 6, 12 pm ET
Event Description
This one-hour program enables participants to gain an understanding of the use of different living wall systems both indoors and out, and in various climates. Attendees will discover the design considerations and positive effects of living walls on the built environment; and, explore case studies of a variety of living wall systems and their performance after installation, evidence-based research citations, and compelling photography.
Learning Objectives:
Master various project design criteria for architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and horticultural considerations and costs.
Discover features, advantages, differences, and challenges of various living walls (also known as green walls) systems.
Understand the importance of maintenance and the ongoing cost associated with keeping plants alive in a living wall installation.
Comprehend best practices of presented project case studies. We will be discussing the following:
Urbanstrong's Living Wall CEU Presentation is eligible for a 1-hour credit with the following organizations: AIA, ASID, LEED AP, IIDA, IDCEC, BOMI, LACES, GBCI CMP, HSW, and ASLA.
