Johnson Controls Partners with World Green Building Council

Rate It Green Member, Johnson Controls, has entered into a partnership with the World Green Building Council as the first partner of the newly formed the Americas Regional Network. The Americas Regional Network represents nineteen national Green Building Councils with thousands of member companies across North, Central, and South America. The Council’s plans for 2017 include focusing on supporting cities in the development of building efficiency policies in partnership with the World Resources Institute, exchanging green schools best practice with the Inter-American Development Bank, and strengthening the overall business case for building green.
 
 
Vice President of Industry Relations at Johnson Controls, Clay Nesler says, “We look forward to participating in conversations that highlight the economic, social, and environmental benefits of green buildings as a critical platform for creating smarter, safer, and more sustainable cities.”
