It's hard to believe that BBR has been accepting donations since it first started in 1994 in two storage trailers.
Some highlights and notes:
-Homeowners and business donors help influence and excite contractors to reuse (A trade-only approach to expanding green building might miss some great opportunities!)
-People donate nicer stuff than you might expect. (This is great to hear.)
-It ain't easy being green. (Not a surprise!) But a strong and helpful community and staff, and great customers, can make the difference.
Matthew's words can inspire us all to keep working to grow the green building movement, and.... to go visit BBR!
This story can also remind us all to go visit BBR or another resource center (Center for EcoTechnology comes to mind for Central MA) to learn about their work - and to donate or buy!
