Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.

FREE Green Building Webinar: Daylighting by Design, June 3, 12 pm EDT
Event Description
This course discusses the benefits of a thoughtfully-designed light control system and how to make it work for your project's natural-lighting and shading needs. The discussion emphases implementing design methods including specification of technologies such sun shades and canopy systems that creates that useful and aesthetically-pleasing daylight systems. Designing to not only minimize solar hear gain and sunlight, but to successfully re-purpose it for great environmental and aesthetic function. LEED credits associated with specifying sun shade and daylighting canopy systems are also discussed.

Steve provides continuing education by presenting on the positive environmental impacts of canopy and sun shade systems across the country. He is also responsible for public relations and marketing at MASA, where he runs comprehensive social media networking and campaigns. He also produces MASA’s YouTube videos. Steve’s background is in journalism and media.
