Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. The U.S Green Building Council Los Angeles Chapter (USGBC-LA) Municipal Green Building Conference and Expo (MGBCE) is the longest running annual green building event in Southern California. The conference attracts a wide variety of building industry disciplines, including municipalities, utilities, public agencies, architects, engineers, building owners, contractors, non-profits, and manufacturers. All of these groups are working together to create connected cities that succeed in the three E’s: Economic, Environmental, and Equity solutions.
The 2017 Municipal Green Building Conference and Expo (MGBCE) theme is Connected Cities: Economic, Environmental, and Equity Solutions. Across the Southern CA region, the top ten trending topics in cities include:

City administrations are seeking ways to forge an inclusive path forward, especially at the local level. We are seeking solutions at the building, city, and regional scale. We welcome your participation and encourage you to submit an abstract to share your innovative green building expertise in wellness, efficiency actions, technology, and policy. MGBCE is Southern California's longest-running and largest sustainability and green building event focusing on the unique needs and concerns for municipalities, architects, contractors, and engineers.
Hosted annually by the Los Angeles Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council and SoCalGas, this event brings together thought-leaders in the industry with local government agencies, municipal policy makers, policy implementers, leading architects, and building industry professionals to further the development of a sustainable future for Southern California.
