BEEx Forum: Excellent Ventilation in Multifamily Buildings
Event Description
Airtightness is emerging as a keystone of high performance buildings, mitigating important energy losses and limiting the intrusion of moisture and pests. But a quality interior requires that airtightness be coupled with proper ventilation. Fortunately, providing continuous, fresh, filtered air efficiently is possible in new and existing multifamily buildings using heat recovery ventilation.
Join the Building Energy Exchange for a presentation on superior indoor air quality via energy recovery ventilators (ERVs). Speakers will share experiences using ERVs in current and past projects to enhance comfort, promote health, and save energy. They will compare centralized and compartmentalized approaches for multifamily buildings as well as installation and maintenance strategies for varying project types.
Following the presentations, there will be a moderated discussion with the speakers.
MODERATOR
Adam Romano, Association for Energy Affordability
SPEAKERS
Chris Benedict, Architect
Aubrey Gewehr, Ventacity Systems
John Rockwell, Zehnder America
This program is available for 1.5 AIA CEUs
