Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.

We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. Event Description
Retrofit Talks is an online series of live talks that connects professionals to discuss residential retrofit. Produced as part of Retrofit 23, this series showcases the latest research and projects in architectural practice, providing case studies and best practices for retrofit of homes. The talks feature guest speakers presenting their project followed by an interactive Q&A. Join us for these engaging sessions and gain insights into the innovative approaches to retrofitting homes.
The third event in this series will take place at 1pm, Tuesday 6th June, and will feature data from indoor air quality readings and discuss the information which is beginning to emerge from the UK Government funded clean air research programmes.

Tom Woolley is a visiting Professor at the Centre for Alternative Technology in Wales, chair of the UK Clean Air Steering Committee and a leading advocate of healthy homes. He has published widely on construction, planning, housing, green architecture and buildings and health, and his latest book is Natural Building Techniques.
For this talk, Dr Tom Woolley will review the potential to use bio-based and natural breathable materials in retrofit, outlining the range of materials now available, the benefits in terms of health, indoor air quality, avoiding condensation and providing excellent thermal performance.
