IWBI Announces 3 Impressive Initiatives to Support the Green & Healthy Building and Wider Communities
Posted by: Allison Friedman // Rate It Green Admin
The International Well Building Institute (IWBI) has announced a number of initiatives designed to help and support the green and healthy building and wider communities in the time of crisis surrounding the coronavirus.
First, IWBI will be setting up a Task Force to help bring together experts and further inform WELL Building Standard improvements, but also general prevention and preparedness, and recovery efforts.
Second, IWBI is hosting a free series of webcasts for sharing collective knowledge and experience, "Places Matter: Prevention and Preparedness, Resilience and Recovery." The three accnounced sesssions are as follows:
- March 26: IBWI's global community’s response to the novel coronavirus - Hear from IWBI global outposts, including our team in China, on navigating the coronavirus.
- April 3 - Putting Health First -Practical strategies you can implement to support your own health and the health of your family.
- Thursday April 9 - The New Normal: Working from Home - Hear from health experts about best practices for working from home while taking care of your health. Explore ergonomics, acoustics, ideas for combatting social isolation and more.
We've listed the webinars as events on the Rate It Green Calendar (and in this group). To sign up for all three, you can also just visit IWBI's Webcast page.
Third, IWBI is hosting a FREE Well AP exam prep course, starting on April 2, sponsored by Delos.
