LEED GA Exam Prep Course, Online May 9 - 10, 9 - 12:30 pm ET
Event Description
The Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) created the LEED Green Associate credential to denote basic knowledge and understanding of green building design and construction. The LEED Green Associate exam is designed to test general knowledge of green building practices and how to support other professionals working on LEED projects. The Green Associate credential also serves as the first step for professionals pursuing a more advanced LEED AP Specialization.
This workshop teaches participants the core concepts within the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) LEED certification program and helps participants effectively navigate both requirements and practical context relating to the LEED BD+C rating system. Through this course, participants will build a strong foundation towards successfully passing the LEED v4 Green Associate exam. Anyone can take the course, and anyone can sign up to take the exam, regardless of experience level.
The course is divided into LEED credit categories, which address different impact areas of the built environment. The course includes lecture content but will also encourage student participation and the sharing of insights and expertise among the group. A full schedule – along with other details and a Zoom meeting link – will be shared with registered participants prior to the first day of class.
