Please be kind and respectful!
Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. USGBC Massachusetts, Annual General Meeting, January 28, 6pm, Boston
Event Description
Once a year, USGBC MA comes together to celebrate the volunteers, members, and successes that make the USGBC MA community amazing! Ring in the new year with food and drinks and an awards ceremony for members, as well as wrapping up voting for the Board of Directors and the organizational name change.
This past year a lot has been accomplished, such as advocating for zero energy policies, launching inaugural conference Design 4 People, and awarding King Open/Cambridge Street Upper Schools & Community Complex the title of 2019 Green Building of the Year at the Green Building Showcase.
The Annual General Meeting also includes two voting sessions: the 2020 Board of Director’s election and the vote for changing the organizational name to “Built Environment Plus”. Voting is limited to USGBC MA members only and will occur at the Annual General Meeting on January 28th, beginning at 6:00 PM. In order for the organizational name change to occur, two-thirds of our current members must vote in favor of this change. Proxy ballots for both votes will be sent by email to all members on January 13th. More information will be released soon about the nature of the organizational name change.
The evening will conclude with an announcement about the results of both voting sessions.
