Cracking the Code – An Update on Passive House and Building Codes in Massachusetts
Event Description

This session will explore how passive house adoption is transforming the design and construction industry in Massachusetts—and how you can stay ahead in this rapidly evolving landscape.

Join Paul Ormond from the Department of Energy Resources as he provides essential updates and guidance on Massachusetts’ energy codes, including:

  • An overview of Specialized and Stretch Code adoption and what’s next in the state
  • A clear layout of Incentives available to passive house certified projects—including early design review opportunities
  • Insights into the current landscape of passive house adoption and certification pathways (via PHI and Phius)

Whether your focus is achieving passive house certification success, cost management, or carbon leadership in the built environment, this evening will equip you with clarification and inspiration on “cracking the code” in Massachusetts.
