Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. Smart Building Summit, April 10th in NYC
Event Description
Join the Cross-Learning Alliance for the Smart Building Summit. This day-long event will convene 22 expert building professionals to investigate how building automation can improve energy performance and tenant wellness. Attendees will leave the sessions with new insight into the design, implementation, and operation of building automation and control systems.
SESSION 1: Keynote: Automation for Health and Performance Requires Deep Collaboration
SESSION 2: Designing For Ease of Use. Owners, users, and operators will share their perspectives to inform the design of automated systems.
SESSION 3: Transforming Existing Buildings into Smart Buildings. This panel will explore how to transform existing buildings into smart buildings through retrofits and expansion of existing building technology.
AFTERNOON SESSIONS (3.5 CREDITS)
SESSION 4: Building Automation: Brief Lessons from the Field. Fast-paced presentations will exhibit real solutions that participants can implement immediately.
SESSION 5: WELLness. Explore how controls and monitoring affect wellness, including ventilation technology, IAQ monitoring and lighting.
SESSION 6: Upping the Ante: Integrating and Automating Independent Systems. Learn which building systems are sharing data now and what can be gained through data integration.
*As a Cross-Learning Alliance event, member prices are available to ASHRAE, AIA and Urban Green Members.
