Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. Thriving: Growing Green Schools Discussion Panel and PDX Green Schools Conference Kick Off Party, Oct 17, Portland, OR
Event Description
Join the Portland Green Schools committee for the last panel discussion in the 2019 panel series “Growing a Green School”. School high performance experts from the field and district staff will discuss their success stories in driving the green schools movement beyond one or two projects to a district-wide, sustainable initiative. This event will be followed by a reception and launch party co-hosted with the Center for Green Schools to officially kick off Portland as a host for the 2020 Green Schools Conference & Expo (GSCE).
The Green Schools Conference & Expo (GSCE) is a national event that brings together all the players involved in making green schools a reality: people who lead, operate, build and teach in U.S. schools. GSCE is an opportunity for green schools leaders to share challenges, opportunities and lessons learned in their continued advocacy for healthy, sustainable schools.
