Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. 14th Annual North American Passive House Conference: December 4-8, Washington, DC
Event Description
The number of passive buildings certified and built each year grows exponentially. They're hitting critical mass, so come tjoin Passive House Institute US (PHIUS) in Washington, DC for the 14th Annual North American Passive House Conference.
The PHIUS NAPHC is the oldest way to learn about all things passive house. Attendees get real-world case studies on projects ranging from single family homes to high-rises, the latest on mechanical systems, building science, constructions details, and expo hall full of the latest building components.

1. Introduction to Passive House

ABOUT: PHIUS’ Klingenberg will present an introduction to passive houses. Semke will provide a top level view of where passive building fits in a Net Zero world. Fine, Peabody, and Hindle will provide a deeper dive into passive buildings around Metro DC
2. PHAUS Mixer at Jaleo
The North American Passive House Conference always closes with a bang: the PHAUS mixer. This year it's just down the street from the conference hotel, at Jaleo.
Only $20 for current PHAUS members and $30 for non-members. But space is limited!
